• My name is Abigail Thompson, and I've been a massage therapist now for more than ten years, focusing on injury treatment and surgery prevention methods. My techniques are direct and focus on returning quality of life to those with mobility restrictions or chronic pain issues. I learned how to do massage therapy from Cortiva Massage Therapy institute in Seattle, where I grew up. The focus there was Medical therapies and I was in the first Cohort to graduate as medical professionals, recognized by the medical community as a provider with a beneficial treatment for a persons health. My favorite part about what I do is being able to help someone reclaim their life and happiness through loss of pains they've been suffering with for who knows how long. I find that the body remembers pains you've long forgotten, that the shoulder trouble you may be having could be due to a car accident you were in when you were three and don't recollect but the strain pattern has simply grown with you. I want to help correct these patterns in everyone who comes across my table.
